Here are my card base on photo above :) I try to capture the "feel" as close as possible, to capture this feel I picked a few main elements that graps my attention and pay some attention to details of it. Also, I've used Debonair, Pretty Phrases and Reflections on this card.

Jay Gee's Nook DT: Happy Father's Day

Hello,

Today is a special day for the fathers :) too remember this day, I have made a card and it is also for DT post over Jay Gee's Nook blog.

I was inspired by my dad as he is an engineering, just thought this card might suite him? I added the "nuts" to be part of the embellishment of this stamp set "Grunge" from Skipping Stones.

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge: Designer Drafts

Here is my card using the horizontal sketch. Sometimes it is quite hard follow the sketch closely, but if you would challenge yourself to think outside the box, you will find that sketch actually is one of the useful ways to positioning your stamps into a right place. More close up... I did twice in die cutting those blooms to have more dept when adhering form tape on the label.

Runway Inspired Challenge #13

Welcome back for Runway Inspired Challenge #13 and here is the inspiration photo. Pretty obvious it is a "houndstooth" theme.

Here is my take on the challenge. When I look at the inspiration photo, my first impression is to create a father's day card. I stamp the houndstooth stamp on the card and die cut it.

Here is my take base on above photo :) I was inspired by the texture from the wall tiles... Another way to get the wood texture effects is to stamp it on texture paper.
