Think of the left over P.E.A.R.L.S that we had in our craft room and they're just good as to create a Christmas card for the love ones.

Jay Gee's Nook DT: Celebrate today and always.

Is time for Jay Gee's Nook DT post :) and it has been great to work on the card that I am going to show you today! Well, well, well... I believe if you still remember this card in this post? Yes, I am using the same stamp again to create this card but different approach of stamping design. Instead of stamp it "overlapping"I choose to stamp it by leaving a gap in between those images :) I love using one stamp set by creating different cards, just to show how sometimes stamps can be used over and over again without getting bored of it. This stamps are from Paper Smooches - Reflections.

Jay Gee's Nook DT: Thanks ever so much

Hi,

Time for DT's post over Jay Gee's Nook and I have a one-layer-card to share with you today. DANG! I heart one layer recently and I am still in love creating with. If you could recognise the sentiment, it is from Paper Smooches "Pretty Phrases". You can tell ya their style are so so CUTE and FUN to create and when I saw this new stamps set "Reflections"created by them, I was amazed to see these little leaves coming together when I create this card. They're just gorgeous stamps.

To create this card, I first stamp using lighter to darker ink pad and do some studies in regards what colour should I go for. Then, I roughly sketch out the layout to give me an ideas how would it looks like. Lastly, I choose the leave which shown as bellow photo.

I hope you get some inspiration on today post. Have a blessed Sunday everyone.

Jay Gee's Nook DT: Many Thanks

Wow,

Another week passed and today is Sunday meaning we're having DT's post over Jay Gee's Nook blog :) Well, today's card focusing on pattern paper and a sentiment :) I received this 6 x 6 pattern paper pad from Lawn Fawn and let me tell you, it took me so long to just admiring these papers without noticed that how much I admire their design. You might be curious how did I went to get the square shape, I actually measure the square that I want then cut it one by one. Dang! that sentiment are just perfect to go with this pattern paper, elegant font from this set called "Many Thanks" :)

I love this card :) If you noticed, it's from Paper Crafts Magazine March/April 2012 issue. Also, this card was base on a sketch which also can be found in this magazine p. 29.

For me the highlight of this card is the extra-texture on the white card which makes this card stands out. 

Tips: Sketch helps to create ideas and good sketch can be use over and over again.

Runway Inspired Challenge #7

Welcome to Runway Inspired Challenge #7, wow its #7!!! Can you believe it, time flies friends :) Thank you for all your support over the passed challenges and I do hope that you will continue to be challenge by the amazing fashion photo we have for you.

Here is my take base on above photo :) For today DT's post honestly I lack of mojo in creating card and that feelings are simply frustrated >< Nevertheless, what I have learned was to get out from my crafts room a while and do something else and then come back again. During this time I will try to look at "things" that could inspire me such as "Pinterest" which are quite well known at the moment not only you could pin something on it but even get inspired by others pin board :)
