Hello.

Welcome to this week Jay Gee's Nook DT post and I have this little cutie to share with you this morning :) I've use this stamp "Rosie" from Purple Onion Designs to create this card. I try to keep this card simple as I wanted the Poppy's image to be the focal point.

Holiday Cards & More 12 Blogs of Christmas Blog Hop!

Welcome to Paper Crafts Magazine Holidays Cards & More, Vol. 7 Blog Hop. I am honored to be part of this blog hop together with 11 others designer. For today's post, we were asked to create a holiday card using sentiment from this issue. You can download the sentiment here.
I am a sentiment geek and today's card show case using print sentiment :) It is important to have the right sentiment selection to match the theme/feels/ style of the card. I've chose this elegant "Deck the Halls" sentiment to work with.
To create this card, I first print the sentiment on card stock then apply die cut ornaments on card.
I hope today's post inspired you a little of card making in using printed sentiment. Before you leave, please continue visit the following designer's blog for more inspirations as well as increase your chances in winning a copy of Holidays Cards & More, Vol. 7 magazine.
In addition, by leaving a comment on this post, you will get a chance to win a copy of the magazine. All comments must be posted until Tuesday, September 25th and I will pick a winner to receive a copy of the magazine. Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Cards and More – Around the World

Saw one of my published card appeared at today's Paper Crafts Connection blog. It is an honoured to represent Australia together with other countries around the world. So excited to find out one of my crafty friend/mentor Marlene Lo who represent Malaysia.  Also, it is interesting as well to find out how crafter interpret their cards and tags base on the country they live :)
This verse reminds me once again the meaning behind Christmas which is Christ Jesus was born. Thanks for stoping by and Have a Blessed day!

Jay Gee's Nook DT: Missing You So So Much

I love making one layer card and today's card is not exceptional. I've used this beautiful stamps set from Skipping Stones Design "Dandelion Dreams" by using different ink pads to stamp it. In order to achieve the outcome of the layering images, the best way by doing it is to stamp using from lighter tone to darker tone. This way it will help to identified the layers of the image.
I hope you enjoy today post :) Thanks for stopping!
