Jay Gee's Nook Challenge #14: Christmas Theme

Hello

Welcome to another challenge of the month from Jay Gee's Nook and Judith has put all these inspiration photos for this Christmas theme challenge. It was full of Christmas items that you could create. This including tags, gift boxes/bags, wrapping, decorations or even traditional/non traditional Christmas theme.
I've create a simple card using Wplus9 Design Studio stamps as I always adore Dawn's creation and the bold satin ribbon are perfect touch to finished off the card. As this year Christmas falls on a Sunday which we will not have post this day :) Therefore, the next challenge will be on the 8th January 2012.

Since this is the last challenge of the year, I do hope you enjoy the challenge and I can't wait to see what you've create.

More inspirations can be found at other DT's blog

Jay Gee's Nook DT: Japanese Masking Tape

Hello,

I hope you have a blessed weekend! Time for another week of DT's post from Jay Gee's Nook. Today card was inspired by the Japanese Masking Tape from m t deco. Of course the "Hello" sentiment are from Paper Smooches called Chit Chat.

Never try never know how the outcome would be. For those who do not have a masking tape, perhaps beautiful pattern paper or background stamps would help to create the similar effect from above card.

Happy Cards Making Day!

Jay Gee's Nook Challenge #13

Hello,

Welcome to Jay Gee's Nook brand new challenge. This month challenge is slightly different compared with the previous challenges where you get to create a card base on an inspiration photo. However, in this challenge you have to create a non-holiday card using holiday stamps such as Christmas, Easter etc. This might challenge you to think outside the box.

I decided to go with PTI stamp which called Holiday Lights :) I turn this set of stamps into a all occasion card instead of a holiday card.
I hope you take some times to join this challenge and I can't wait to see your creation.
  • Stamps: (Holidays Light) PTI
  • Ink: (Graphite Black) Tsukineko

Jay Gee's Nook DT: Merry Christmas

Hello,

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Today card is about "Masking Technique" and also DT's post from Jay Gee's Nook blog. In fact, I am not a masking type of person and today tag was my first time in trying. I always inspired by Cristina masking skills, she really "Master in Masking" and this card is one of the example that challenge me to try at least once. I've used For the Love of Dots stamps from Practicing Creativity to create this tag and it turn out quite unexpected!

Just thought it would be great idea too in approaching mass produce.

Merry Christmas
I hope you enjoy today's tag and hopefully give you some inspiration.

Today post is all about THANKSGIVING, some people I would like to thank for but most importantly is the one who give me the talent in doing handmade cards - My Dear Heavenly Father.

In addition, there are several things has been happening since last year October 2010 to this year 2011. The TOP 5 things I would like to give thanks:
1. Cards published on Paper Craft magazine (10 issues).
2. Guess designer over CAS-ual Fridays blog.
4. Paper Craft connection spotlight Christmas Around the World and Designer Blog Roll.
5. Design Team over Judith's blog at Jay Gee's Nook.

Things wouldn't have happen without Him and I thank the Lord for giving me these blessings. In order to make this day memorable, I have some "Love" to share with all of you and some give away gifts.
These little gifts represent "Love" meaning everything that we do should comes from heart! Hope it always be our reminder :) In order to have these, simply leave a comment on my blog by telling what is the most thing you would like to give thanks? or How this blog has been inspired you?
